Work Environment

Davis Square Architects has a distinctive work culture that values the unique contributions of each person, encourages communication, and supports continuing education and career development. Our vitality grows out of a studio environment that blends professionally challenging projects with policies that promote work-life balance.

Social Responsibility

Our staff shares an enthusiasm for design that is responsive to both the physical environment and community needs. We sit on local planning and zoning boards, participate in design review committees, support and lead local arts organizations, perform volunteer work, and engage in other civic and political activities that expand our professional perspective.

Davis Square Architects contributes a portion of its profits to worthy community service organizations, in the belief that strong communities and great architecture are mutually dependent.

Members of Davis Square Architects participate in many activities, both inside and outside the office, designed to socialize and celebrate our achievements. These events include softball games, a summer family picnic, the annual company retreat, Friday Lunches, architectural registration dinners, bus and walking tours of recently completed projects, and a themed Holiday Party for clients.
