The new six-story building that replaces the previous Colonel Floyd development meets the most stringent sustainability goals and utilizes universal design principles that promote aging-in-place for its senior and disabled residents. Located in Brookline’s lively Coolidge Corner, the 32 Marion Street development is near public transportation, grocery stores, restaurants and other neighborhood conveniences. Residents of the new building will enjoy ample outdoor amenities and a sunny courtyard as well as access to on-site services, including common spaces, a fitness room, library, and nurses’ offices, all on the ground and first floors.
Congratulations to the Brookline Housing Authority and the entire design team on reaching this milestone.
