Davis Square Architects partnered with The Neighborhood Developers on 170 Cottage Street in Chelsea, the redevelopment of a long-vacant lot into affordable rental housing for families.
Designed with sustainability at the forefront, the development is PHIUS-certified and provides a mix of 66 one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, including two units for disabled individuals, with16 units prioritized for families who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of experiencing homelessness.
