Davis Square Architects is currently working with the Worcester Housing Authority, Tremont Development Partners and E3 Development on the redevelopment of Lakeside Apartments, a 34-building, 202-unit affordable community located near the Coes Pond recreational area and next to the revitalized East-West Trail in Worcester, MA.
Dating back to 1949, this aging complex will be replaced with new, energy-efficient housing designed to Passive House standards. Constructed in multiple phases, the project will offer updated homes for current residents as well as new households. Phase 1 will create 116 rental units, Phase 2 will create 10 affordable homeownership units, and Phase 3 will complete the development with 104 rental units.
