Richard P. O’Neil Housing for Veterans

With the number of veterans in need of homes on the rise, CHOICE teamed up with Davis Square Architects to create an 8-unit affordable rental development for veterans in Chelmsford, MA. Smartly designed with a welcoming atmosphere, the new building includes eight studio units (one of them an accessible unit) and a generous community area for the residents. Each unit comes equipped with a small kitchen, microwave, bathroom, parking spot and sizable basement storage section. The community space features a large kitchen, lounge and flat-screen TV, and there is also a laundry room. Residents also have access to the Chelmsford Housing Authority’s work-based family self-sufficiency program.
