RTH Restoration Housing is an affordable multi-family housing facility in Boston’s Mission Hill neighborhood. When their buildings reached the point of rehabilitation, they called Davis Square Architects.
The resulting 17-building historic renovation breathes new life into these treasured homes, a result of working closely with the client, management company and contractor. The project features upgrades to envelope and systems, accessibility and common areas; plus new flooring, kitchens and baths for 81 apartments. New siding and porches preserve and enhance the neighborhood’s historic character, and a new common room featuring laundry and lounge with an exterior patio and grill area provide additional amenities to the residents.
