Amy E. Bloom

Project Architect

Amy Bloom has been with Davis Square Architects since January of 2007. In her role as Project Architect, she oversees a project from design and detailing to construction. Amy specializes in affordable housing design, sustainability, and resident participation. She has extensive experience developing presentations for community groups and civic design review.

At the Rhode Island School of Design Amy’s thesis focused on Multigenerational Housing, where studying families with up to four generation under one roof gave her a new perspective on the typical American home. Amy created unique housing to complement the continuously expanding and contracting household, realizing the enormous rewards that come with a close-knit family and community.
