José Moreno


José Moreno joined Davis Square Architects as a designer in 2016. He brings four years of design and drafting experience specializing in construction documentation, schematic and design development, zoning code research, field measurements and as-built drawings. He is also skilled at presentation and database design. His past work ranges from commercial, residential and renovation projects, to airbuses, private planes and yachts.

José is currently working on the renovations to Fruit Sever Apartments, a 5-building,132-unit affordable rental community located in Worcester, MA. The proposed renovations will include selective kitchen and bathroom modernization, window replacement, façade and balcony repairs, balcony railing replacement, accessibility upgrades, HVAC upgrades, electrical and life safety system improvements as well as courtyard design.

Additionally, José worked on the Solar Decathlon design and construction crew and was also a safety officer during the final completion of the project on the Washington Mall, where he was responsible for ensuring workers’ OSHA compliance. His volunteer work includes working on the construction crew for Habitat for Humanity, and teaching basic computer skills to Spanish speakers at Cambridge Community Television.
