Davis Square Architects worked with Lawrence Communiy Works to design an 18-unit development plus office space on just over half an acre of land. Located at the corner of Newbury and Haverhill Streets in Lawrence, the pivotal site is part of a neighborhood in which Lawrence Community Works has signifcantly invested over the years.
Replacing an Italian-American Men’s Club and parking lot, this development helped knit together the urban fabric with 18 affordable rental units, community and office space as well as 29 parking spaces. The site also includes a new 6,000 sf landscaped space to be shared with the community.
